Wurlitzer Garden Path North Tonawanda NY 8x10 1930's Reprint Of Old Photo

In 1888 De Kliest set up band organ production in what was then part of Martinsville, New York (soon to be incorporated as North Tonawanda, New York), founding the North Tonawanda Barrel Organ Factory. After De Kliest was voted in as mayor of North Tonawanda in 1906, Wurlitzer bought him out of the business in 1908. The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, usually referred to simply as Wurlitzer, was an American company that produced stringed instruments, woodwinds, brass instruments, theatre organs, band organs, orchestrions, electronic organs, electric pianos and jukeboxes. Over time Wurlitzer changed to producing only organs and jukeboxes. The plant closed in 1973 and was purchased, in the early 1980s, by a group of investors with the goal of turning the old plant into an industrial park.

Here is a neat photo collectible featuring the Garden Path at the North Tonawanda NY Wurlitzer factory. This is a reproduction of an old 8x10 1930's photo. Reproduced photo is in mint condition.
