Character carved slots started in the early 1950s when Frank Polk carved life size statues of cowboys and eastern characters to hold slot machines. Other famous statues were carved and patent by the team of Harry L Skelly & Edith Freedman of Reno Nevada. This patent set contains 5 documents as shown in the photos. This is an excellent quality reproduction of an original patent in high resolution taken directly from US Patent Office archives.
