D. Gottlieb & Co. was an arcade game corporation based in Chicago, Illinois. The company was established by David Gottlieb in 1927, initially producing pinball machines while later expanding into various other games including pitch-and-bats, bowling games, and eventually video arcade games. Here is a neat collectible of the D. Gottlieb Showroom showing a line of of pinball games from the early 1970s. If you take a close look on the right, there are some early games from the 1930s.
