Vermont Fair Life In The Nude Sideshow 4x6 Photo 1940s
Vermont State Fair is owned and operated by the Rutland County Agricultural Society. It was in the fall of 1846 when the first Rutland Fair was held. Since 1859 the Fair has been located at its current location referred to as the Rutland County Park. There is a clause in the original deed that indicates that there must be a agricultural fair held on the property once per year. The fairgrounds belongs to the Rutland County Agricultural Society, but if they do not have a Fair, it would convert to the original heirs and assigns of the original subscribers. In 1926 the Rutland Fair was rated the third largest in New England and among the top 10 in the USA.
